MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WJTV) — A dance coach that has been featured on the hit Lifetime Television show “Bring It” has been arrested for allegedly exposing a minor to HIV.

Police arrested John Conner, III after a 17-year-old reported that he had sex with his dance coach. The victim was 16 when the alleged incidents occurred.

The affidavit states that Conner and the teen met online back in 2015 and decided to meet up in person.  It also states that the two had unprotected sex several times and sent each other nude photos through text messages. The victim alleges that Conner didn’t tell him that he was HIV positive.

Conner was arrested Friday and is facing charges of criminal exposure to HIV, soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor, and statutory rape.

According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s office inmate detail, Conner’s bond was set at $100,000.
