2 Alcorn County men arrested for allegedly selling counterfeit goods

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — Two Alcorn County men are arrested for allegedly having counterfeit goods and coins.

According to Attorney General Jim Hood, 39-year-old David Driver and 42-year-old Russell Hayne were arrested Friday at their Corinth business, Discount Wallet Outlet.

Authorities said they uncovered more than $1.5 million in counterfeit goods and coins.

Both men are facing charges of the sale of counterfeit goods, wire and mail fraud. If convicted of all charges, they each face a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.
