JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — After a month long fundraiser, Brown Bottling Group presented at $10,000 check to Batson Children’s Hospital.
The company along with Kroger, Canada Dry, and Dr. Pepper presented the donation Wednesday.
“With Batson being Mississippi’s only children’s hospital, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is among the busiest in the country,” said Shelley Brown Floyd, Chief Marketing Officer at Brown Botting Group. “We’re delighted these funds are able to be used in one of the hospital’s greatest areas of need.”
In July, $1 from every Dr. Pepper and Canada Dry purchased at Kroger in central Mississippi was collected for Batson.
