JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — A man convicted of capital murder appeared in court Thursday for sentencing.
In November 2013, Donte Shepard and two others were allegedly involved in the deadly shooting of 51-year-old Tony Brown.
Officials said Brown was found dead at his home on Randall Street. He was shot several times.
He was sentenced to life without parole for his capital murder conviction by Judge Jeff Weill. The trial lasted three days, according to the Attorney General’s office.
