ABC issues citations, makes arrests after complaints of underage drinking at Club Eclipse

JACKSON, Miss.(WJTV) — Alcoholic Beverage Control agents made several arrests and issued citations over the weekend after they received complaints about underage drinking at a Jackson club.

Agents conducted an investigation into Club Eclipse on West Street. Officials said they went there Saturday night.

The manager Robert Staples and the security guard, Joshua Spann were arrested. Staples is charged with failure to properly supervisor minors on the premises and Spann was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Another adult, Rosahn Lee Akoon, was charged with furnishing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21. Akoon was not taken to jail.

Two people accused of underage drinking were also arrested. Authorities said 19-year-old Audrey Allen and 18-year-old Andrew Smith were charged with possession of beer by a minor.

Also, nine minors and an adult were given citations.
