CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) — Continental Tire donated $15,000 to Clinton High School that went towards the purchases of Apple TVs for each classroom.
“Continental has an excellent reputation for supporting the communities it is in, and when we heard the company is coming to our town, we were excited,” said Clinton High School Principal Anthony Goins, Ed.S. “As a technology-driven district, we are always looking for ways to help prepare our kids for the digital world in which they will live and provide the best resources to help our teachers inside the classrooms.”
In addition to Apple TVs, the school purchased new projectors.
School administrators said the technology would better integrate each classroom by allowing teachers to connect their MacBook laptops wirelessly to project their lessons and be more mobile within the classroom environment.
“We are grateful for the support we’ve received from the local community and the warm welcome from the Clinton School District,” said Grant Bovim, Continental project manager. “Clinton High School is an exemplary school. It is important for us to support the communities we serve and the continued advancement of our youth and technologies.”
