JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – No serious injuries are being reported following a tractor trailer accident on I-20 eastbound near mile marker 19 in Hinds County.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports possible delays of up to one hour and 30 minutes along I-20 eastbound before MS 22 near Flora, Edwards, Exit 19 near mile marker 19.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is waiting for a wrecker to pull the 18-wheeler out of the ditch.
MHP’s Corporal Eric Henry tells WJTV that no load was spilled when the driver of an 18-wheeler allegedly ran off the roadway.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Delays are reported as crews work to clear the scene.
