Boo at the Zoo

The Zoo’s version of “trick or treat” will take place on Friday, Oct. 28th and Saturday, Oct. 29th from 5:00pm-8:00pm and will be open to the public for regular zoo admission to provide a safe, fun atmosphere for your children to celebrate Halloween.

Local businesses and organizations will be on-site with festive booths, activities and candy for all the ghost and goblins. The Education Team at the Jackson Zoo welcomes you to a Hogwarts experience located in the Education Building, take part in a parade of costumes to be held nightly at 6:30pm at the Gertrude C. Ford Wildlife Theater and Monster Mash Dance party nightly at 7:30p. There will be creepy animal encounters from our friendly animal ambassadors, a live DJ, haunted hay ride and more! Concessions will be available.

This is a “merry not scary” event. So bring your little ones for a WILD time at Boo at the Zoo at the Jackson Zoo. Family-friendly costumes are encouraged.
