HOLMES COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — Holmes County authorities are looking for a jail escapee.

Holmes County Jail Warden Barry Rule said they are looking for 20-year-old Adrian Howard.

We’re told the inmates were out in the yard when the incident happened. Officials said he jumped the fence and escaped the jail around 9 a.m.

Law enforcement officers arrested Howard Sunday after a bench warrant was issued. He was charged with grand larceny, resisting arrest, and failure to obey an officer.

Anyone with information on Howard’s location, contact authorities.
