JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – In the 28-24 loss to Southern, it was junior Jarin Morikawa’s turn to take the reins at quarterback for Jackson State.
Tony Hughes pulled his starter, Brent Lyles, in the second quarter after he threw an interception. He performed decently, completing 57 percent of his throws for 136 yards and a touchdown.
