JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Entergy donated 37,000 light bulbs to Mississippi Food Network Thursday.

Representatives from local food pantries gathered at the Mississippi Food Network to receive their share. The bulbs go to families in need.

Volunteers gathered to help with the distribution.

The light bulbs that were donated are Energy Star certified compact fluorescent light bulbs. The energy-efficient bulbs will help recipients reduce energy costs. Entergy said this is helpful because it frees up money for other needs.
