JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson State University celebrated it’s history Thursday with a Founders Day Ceremony.
President Dr. Carolyn Meyers was there. She didn’t speak to reporters, and financial issues were never brought up, but it was on a lot of people’s minds.
It’s the 139th Founders Day for JSU. Many filled the room for the service.
The guest speaker spoke about being proud of the university and maintaining its rich history.
