Brandon woman arrested in Oxford, accused of credit card fraud

BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) — A Brandon woman is under arrest by Oxford Police for alleged credit card fraud.

According to police in Oxford, Mississippi, authorities charged 20-year-old Hannah Smith of Brandon on Thursday, October 21, 2016.

The Rankin County resident is accused of stealing a person’s credit card and using it at several stores. Smith allegedly made the transactions from September 8 through September 13 of this year.

More than $1,600 in purchases were made using the victim’s credit card. A judge has set Smith’s bond at $1,000.
