JACKSON, Mississippi (WJTV) – A clothing manufacturer based in Atlanta, Georgia may be helping to change perceptions about Down Syndrome around the world after a potential model for the company was rejected by a talent agency.
CBS station WKRC in Cincinnati, Ohio reports the story of Meagan Nash and her 15-month-old son Asher, after the mother of the special needs child was told that photos of her son submitted for consideration by Oshkosh were not submitted because a representative for the agency assumed that OshKosh would not be interested in a model with Down Syndrome.
