At this time, Chief Vance said it doesn’t appear that the woman was shot on Gaddis Street. Officers found assault rifle shell casings on Dunbar Street, which is a few blocks over. They believe the scenes are connected.

Police said the shooter might have stood in the middle of the street and fired multiple rounds as the car was passing.

Another woman in the car suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

They are still looking for a shooter.
