Body found in Mississippi River believed to be missing U.S. Army Corps worker

CHARLES PARISH, La. (WJTV) – A body found in the Mississippi River is believed to be of the missing Corps of Engineers’ employee.

That body was found early Sunday, November 6, 2016 around 7:00 a.m. according to CBS affiliate WWL.

Authorities believe this is the body of Larrielle Ross of Mississippi.

The identity of the body will be later confirmed after an autopsy on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in New Orleans.

She was reported missing, Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from the Corps of Engineers MSU boat that had stopped in Norco.
