South Carolina Animal Cruelty Investigation
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WJTV) — South Carolina authorities are working with Mississippi law enforcement agencies to find a man wanted in connection with an animal cruelty case.
Lexington Police in South Carolina said they’d issued an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Saquiriauki S. “Serio” Mister, of Leland, Mississippi. He is wanted for one felony count of ill-treatment of an animal.
On October 16, 2016, Lexington Police were notified through social media about a small dog that was kicked several times and thrown down the stairs. The police were given photos and video of the incident.
Authorities have already arrested 34-year-old Timothy Terell Mister for with obstruction of justice and misprision of a felony. He was originally charged with maltreatment of an animal by Lexington County Animal Control for failing to seek treatment for the dog after the incident.
They are still looking for Serio Mister. Officials believe that he is in the Magnolia state.
Officials said that the dog is in good heath and has recovered from the incident and is being cared for by the County of Lexington Animal Control at last check.
