Stolen Penske truck, pharmaceuticals recovered in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson Police recovered a stolen moving rental truck and pharmaceuticals Tuesday morning.

Commander Tyree Jones said 44-year-old John Steel was charged with possession of stolen goods.

He was pulled over during a traffic stop on Highway 18 Tuesday morning.

The truck had pharmaceuticals in the rear. He has not been charged with anything dealing with the pharmaceuticals at this time.

The case is still being investigated and more charges could be possible.
