Jackson Police Department tweeted 30 year-old, Jervanthy Johnson has been charged with convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Johnson turned himself into Sheriff Victor Mason after being wanted for questioning in connection to the death of Patrick Lacey.
JPD says no charges have been filed in the death of Patrick Lacey.

UPDATE: The man wanted for questioning in connection to the death of Patrick Lacey is in custody.
Jervanthy Johnson turned himself in Friday afternoon to Sheriff Victor Mason.
“We will be turning Johnson over to Jackson Police Investigators immediately,” Sheriff Mason said.
Mason said that he is keeping his promise to work with other agencies in the Metro area.
WJTV was there when Sheriff Mason and his deputies walked Johnson over to the Jackson Police Department. You can watch that video above.

JACKSON, Miss — Jackson police are investigating the 60th homicide of the year.
It happened on Broadview Drive around 1:30 a.m.Friday.
Police say 31-year-old Patrick Lacey was shot in the backyard of a home on the street. We’re told he died on the scene.
Police say he did not live at the home but believe he knew someone in the area. They are looking for 30-year-old Jervanthy Johnson for questioning.
JPD said 2005 Chevy Envoy relating to the homicide has been recovered.
We’re told investigators found a weapon near the crime scene, but are not sure if it is connected to the shooting.
