Jackson councilman talks more about work with Trump Transition Team

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson council member De’Keither Stamps is talking more about his work with the Trump Transition Team.

Stamps held a news conference Monday morning about the team.
He along with about 20 others met with the team that will work directly with the transition of president-elect Donald Trump.

Stamps said they talked about ways the new administration can better serve the public.

“When you get to talking about infrastructure, a pothole is neither Republican or Democrat,” he said. “So anything that we can do to help get the ball moving in the right direction, I am all for it.”
