UPDATE: 11/29/2016 5:38am More than 1,300 customers are still without power this morning. That number may rise as people wake up this morning and report additional outages in the Jackson metro area and throughout Central Mississippi.
(WJTV) — More than 14,700 Entergy customers are without power at this time across the state
Storms are moving across the state with strong winds, and some areas have downed trees and power lines.
The highest number of outages are being reported in Hinds County, with more than 4,800 customers in the dark. There are more than 2,600 without power in Rankin County. There are more than 1,000 customers without power in each Tallahatchie and Montgomery counties.
More than 30 other counties are also reporting outages.
