Jackson Fire Department, GW Gospel work together for holiday toy drive

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Jackson Fire Department is working with GW Gospel for  a holiday toy drive.

They fire department is collecting new, unwrapped toys to give to children who are less fortunate just in time for Christmas.

The toys can be left at any of the Jackson Fire Department’s 21 fire stations or at WMPR radio station, located at 1018 Pecan Park Circle.

“We encourage the community if you find it in your heart would you drop a new toy off to any of your local fire departments throughout the city,” Cleotha Sander said, the Division Fire Chief, JFD Office of Fire Investigations.

They are collecting toys for all ages. The toys will be distributed to the families on December 23, at WMPR.
