Woman rescued after crashing vehicle into ravine in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WTJV) –  A woman who crashed into a ravine off Fisher Ferry Road in Warren County has been rescued.

According to Sheriff Martin Pace, the victim left her home on Harley D. Drive Sunday afternoon around 5 p.m. to head to Vicksburg to go to the store.

When 59-year-old Debbie Kackley didn’t return, family reported her missing around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

A driver passing by saw an accident scene off Fisher Ferry Road around 10:45 a.m. and reported it to authorities.

Sheriff Pace said Kackley was rescued from her car and is being taken to a hospital.

Her car was about 100 feet down the ravine. The accident happened about six miles from her home.

The Vicksburg Fire Department, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Fisher Ferry Fire Department worked the rescue.
