VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) — The woman who was found 13 hours later after her car went down a ravine is still recovering in the hospital.

A family member tells WJTV that 59-year-old Debbie Kackley has been moved from ICU into a regular room in the hospital.

Her son said that his mother still has a long road to recovery, but she is doing a lot better.

Kackley was rescued Monday from a ravine on Fisher Ferry Road around 10:45 a.m. She left to go the store the evening before, and family members said she didn’t return home.

The family wants to thank those who helped with the search and those who have reached out to them.
