JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — The Hinds County District Attorney’s Office brought cheer to kids that have been through some tough times this year.
The staff gave gifts to children who have been affected by violent crimes. This is an annual event for the office.
They celebrated two children who lost a brother earlier this year.
Official said some of the some of the most resilient victims of violent crimes are the victims’ surviving children. We’re told the celebration is an opportunity for the D.A.’s office to share some joyous moments with deserving children and reunite with the supportive family members who attended the trial.
