JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Two New York-based doctors made a stop in Jackson during a cross-country tour.
The visit is part of the Diversity in Medicine Tour. It’s a nation-wide initiative that visits high schools and colleges, talking to minority students who have an interest in medicine.
The Tour for Diversity in Medicine group visited Tougaloo College Friday, a school known for its success stories in its Science department.
The students tell us they left inspired.
