PURVIS, Miss. (AP) — A Purvis woman who provided alcohol to three teenagers who were later killed in a 2014 automobile accident has pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
Mississippi media reports say 44-year-old Kristi Morris was sentenced to 180 days in jail and fined $700 following Tuesday’s guilty plea in Lamar County. She pleaded guilty to multiple counts including violations of Mississippi’s Social Host law and allowing minors to possess alcohol.
The charges followed a Sept. 25, 2014 crash that killed two 16-year-olds — Carrigan Arban and Reagan Woolbright — and 17-year-old Tyler Kelly.
